Touching recap by Suzanne Leclaire-Noteborn MA on the influence of change in organisations on the meaning and purpose we find in our work, stemming from one of the sessions from the Unilever NL Net Zero Week which, after months of planning, we managed to turn into a reality the past week. With a great team we crafted an agenda to take our colleagues on a collective learning journey on the tricky topic that is Net Zero, especially in times of great organisational change.During the week we made sure that, besides the many important learnings on our internal efforts, processes and ambitions, to have enough time for critical personal reflection, supported by The Curiosophy Collective Peter Rombouts and by Julia van Boven from The School for Moral Ambition.A fulfilling week on this topic of Net Zero close to my heart, and hopefully the first of many other big activations on Net Zero to follow. Would of course not have been possible without the great team and the great support and dedication that we’re lucky to receive from leadership to do these kinds of things 😊Sander van den Acker Thomas van Duijn Marieke Kil Verena Schrama Willemijn Storimans Puck van Dijck Joris van der Heijden Tjebbe Keijzer Doortje Visser Josanne Barendse Laura Knoop Debora van der Zee-Denekamp Fleur van Bruggen Joost Houben Peter Dekkers#NetZero #NetZeroMovement #Unilever

Well done Thomas Nissink and team! Really enjoyed the sessions last week and it opened my eyes (again) on the pressing matter that we need to solve.

When an idea turns into impactAfter a period of planning and two weeks of collecting, we yesterday had the closing of our foods and goods collection activation for the Voedselbank Neder-Veluwe (Joke Klein, Greet Blom-Zandstra).In very close collaboration together with Avinash Soekhai and Ilse Denekamp from Unilever Foods Innovation Centre 'Hive', the R&D centres of FrieslandCampina (Joyce van der Heijden Susan Klaver) and Upfield (Yen-te lin Gabriela Galdón López-Quesada) we were able to collect almost TWO trucks worth of foods and goods for the local Food Bank. An amazing result that will for sure reach the right hands and would not have been able without the generous donations of the employees and site leadership teams of our employers (thanks, John-van-der Draaij , Manfred Aben). Also a donation that is highly needed, as Easter is right around the corner and Food Banks face higher pressure than ever to ensure their clients have enough food on the table. If you wish to support the (local) food bank, please have a look on https://lnkd.in/eGx5svWE or maybe feel inspired by this post to organise something similar at your own place of work!
