SAP Master Data - Data Entry Specialist

What does a successful Data Entry Specialist do at Fiserv?

As the Data Entry Specialist, you will join the Master Data team involved in creating and maintaining master data in various systems. You will create, maintain, and block common finance master data, including GL accounts, profit centers, cost centers, customers, and materials at the request of business owners following standard processes. In this role, you will also be involved in ad hoc projects such as user acceptance testing, data reconciliation and validation for system and application upgrades. You will help us achieve our goal of "upon approval, creating master data correctly the first time".

What you will do:

  • Create, maintain, and block common finance master data, including GL accounts, profit centers, cost centers, customers, and materials at the request of business owners following standard processes.
  • Ensure master data governance is followed for each item.
  • Review master data creation to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and approved requests.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing, data reconciliation, and validation for system and application upgrades.
  • Create and maintain account and entity hierarchy mapping within various systems.
  • Support and maintain month-end master data reports.
  • Provide support to internal customers on master data and enforce enterprise guidelines for master data.
  • Maintain and create validation rules.
  • Review and approve new access requests for ledger access.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years' experience entering and validating data in systems.
  • Experience verifying or updating customer information.
  • Experience with quality control.
  • Experience using MS Office: Excel and Word.

What would be great to have:

  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle and/or SAP.
  • Experience with Hyperion Data Relationship Management.
  • Industry experience in the Fintech and/or software industries.
