"I would definitely say stay away from the Port Saint Lucie Keiser campus!! I was the Frist in my family to go to college. My major was RT, it was a two year course. The financial aid department was hasty to have me enroll into the class, my husband and I ask several questions and the answers were very vague. My GE classes were online which I had no problem with, except my Father had a stroke in the beginning of my Math course and I had to drop the course and ended up paying $2000 more because of that, which was the first thing that was not just, the school would not accepted my Father's doctors note I started my core classes and everything was going great, up to my 4th to last class, my doctor had put me on some medication that was not agreeing with my system, and the clinical director took notice and called me into his office. He stated the way I was acting was not normal and that I should take medical leave, which I was going to do, until the Dean said it would be better if I stayed so I could repeat the classes again (free of charge). I listened to his advice, because I trusted him, and repeated the classes again, however, I was still on the medication and I missed the grade by 1 point to pass the class, but I did have a B+ average. The director took me to the Dean's office once again, the Dean could of pass me, but in reality, I needed to be put on medical leave until I sorted the medication out with my doctor. The worst part is later I found out that those classes I repeated, I should have taken when I came back from medical leave. In essence the Dean of the school lied because he did not want to fill out the medical leave papers in the first place. KU failed me out of the school because of one point, now I am left with a $47,000, , bill, no Radiology Degree and, no descent job to pay for it. Basically, Keiser University screwed me over the coals. Therefore, I would not recommend the school to know one!"

"Worst university they still your money basically not flexible nasty approach to students is really important to complete a program and here is impossible they report to the credit bureau everything not professional terrible experience not recommend this university at all"

"West Palm Beach Campus Accelerated program which the three instructors make even more difficult with their bad non caring attitudes. Basically you cover one chapter per day and have a 15 question quiz the next day, which does not allow many mistakes and two test a month. Clinicals like stated in another review is far from home even when locations are close to home."

"First and foremost, Keiser teachers are actually pretty good. Not all of them, but most were pretty solid. The biggest thing they don't tell you is; they bill you by semester, that is four months. So if you take one class, then decide you want to go somewhere else you owe big time for three classes that you never attended. The second big problem; they will tell you anything to get you to sign up. I went there for 14 months in RT before I did some research and learned the odds of me finding a job were slim to none. I was told they had 95% job placement, there is no truth to that. Just a flat out lie to get there hands on my GI Bill. They say they are "veteran friendly". If friendly means laughing all the way to the bank with your VA check then they are very friendly. Issue three; only about 1/3 of the people that start the RT programactually graduate. This is because it's so accelerated you have to teach your self most the info, while your teacher talksabout her weekend and how her cats are doing. Then they guilt you for not being prepared months ago. The x-ray equipment is so old that learning how to use it is pointless. All and all, I could not justify paying 50k to learn on obsolete equipment, from burnt out has been teachers that are more interested in talking about how good they used to be. All that to get a degree in a field that's so flooded that current RTs are trying to get schools to stop pushing RT degrees. Keiser is a degree mill, save yourself some money and heartache and go to your local community college."

"Positives: accelerated program, close to home. Negatives: Costly, NO JOBS, No help from the staff to find a job, Director is only there for herself as is her staff, they all have favorites, program is hard but staff make it harder, NO STAFF is on the same page, clinicals are hours away and they do not care where you live, again NO JOBS, This degree is NOT worth it, GO INTO NURSING!!! TRUST ME"

"WARNING program is not JCERT accredited! This puts you at a huge disadvantage in a highly competitive job market. Also the program director is under qualified and makes things overly difficult. She does not even have a graduate level education and is very new to the job. She'll assign reading each week (100 pages plus) and test on it each Friday, without ever touching on most of the material that ends up in the test. Shop around... you can do better."

"This is the WORST school I've ever attended, Scam is a understatement. I am a military veteran using the GI Bill to further my education and these SCAM artist are taking advantage of people for personal growth. I was studying radiologic technology and my total amount for my tuition was a little over 16k. So I signed up with my GI benefits, and after 3 months of waiting and paying for books out of my own pocket (which I've NEVER done before at any other school I've attended) I ask the finance department what's the deal. They never even submitted my benefits to the VA. And I withdrew from the school for medical reasons and now I supposedly owe them 8k out of 16k for a 2 year degree that I attended 3 months of and its their fault they didn't submit my benefits. This place is a SCAM to the fullest. Now I'm at Everest University and I Love IT. Best vibe and experience I've ever had. Not to mention I'm actually learning something from the teachers who talk about the actual class work instead of how their weekend was and not make me teach myself and expect me to pay them 16k. So take my advice and stay away from keiser."

"Do not sign up for diagnostic medical sonography! First off yes its a great career but thats if you actually get a job. The market is way oversaturated but they of course wont tell you that when you sign up. I am registered and have been out of school 6 months and havent even gotten an interview. Oh and the financial aid dept is the worst I mean worst non functioning dept ever. They wont even give my dipolma because I have a balance because they " forgot to send my pell grant" and then had the unprofessional nerve to say "its our bad". Btw they still havent sorted out the situation Im a VA student way to serve the veterans!"

"Keiser was an excellent choice for me! Yes it was expensive but what school isn't? A community college where you have to wait years to get into the program? Good luck with that! I loved my teachers and my class was small so everyone that I graduated with we are still in contact. The school was clean, the curriculum was easy to follow. I passed my registry the day after graduation!"

"There are a lot of bad reviews on here for Keiser, but I personally find it to be a great school. I have not had one problem with any of the staff. In fact they have been more helpful than I could ever imagine. They're always willing to work with you no matter what you have going on. I am currently in my 3rd month of the RT program and I'm loving it. The professors are extremely knowledgeable and understanding of home situations and 8/10 students find jobs after getting their licenses. Yes it is expensive, but well worth it in my opinion."

"I graduated at Keiser with an AS in Radiology Technology. I passed my Rad Tech board and in addition I received my state certification. Before Keiser I already had my BS in Healthcare Management. I like the fact they provide one class at a time and it was not easy. I was studying everyday of the week and it was too tiring. Keiser drills you until you know the material. Keiser is not for everyone; and to be honest, I no longer want to pursue a job in this field. The one thing I have to complain about is one instructor. Mrs. K played favoritism and it showed; a few of us in class received a lower grade than a few of our classmates knowing the fact that we had higher test scores than the other! We brought it to her attention, but she just ignored it. Mrs. K is lucky she even has a teaching career, she needs to be fired from Keiser."

"The Radiologic Technology Program at Keiser University is excellent! It is rigorous and and it allowed us to challenged in ways that nurtured critical thinking, problem solving, and technical competence. While the faculty was very nice and accessible to every student, they did not diminish the standards of the profession at any time. I always thought it was unfair of my fellow classmates to say they "earned" their As and Bs, but were "given their Cs and Ds. To the student who spoke about their radiography program... if you had wanted a C then you should have given another 2 tenths of a percentage points of effort to get your C. Which, by the way, is the minimum to continue in the program....not the goal! Also, there is another hint about the lameness of the student wrote about the RT program. That student did not even use the correct terminology for the profession...something that is learned in the first week of the first class of the program. The RT student studies to become a radiologic technologist NOT a radiologic technician.... Idiot! No wonder you failed!"

"I hesitate whether or not to recommend the school based on price alone. 10 yrs. later I think I have a better perspective on my education. There was no social element to the experience at all (which was fine with me as an older student going back to school for a second degree). The focus is on the education. The class-rm education; the instruction itself, was excellent. I was well prepared to pass the boards upon graduation. I'm not as gung-ho on the clinical experience...What I could do, in clinicals, was restricted to things that we had already gone over in class and while that may sound reasonable it kept me a little behind students from the other schools in the practical skills area. I cought up. I was employed right away and am still working full time in radiology at a hospital. My main negative is the cost...I am still paying off student loans 10yrs later. Other schools graduate tech's as qualified as I and for a fraction of the cost...If I had to do it over, I would have gone to a public school. It would have taken me a little longer and I may not have scored as high on the registry but it would have been a better choice financially."
