Here’s a comment from user Yomommasan on Reddit (who appears to be at the game).

“Response time was pretty solid. We were bugging out in the stadium because we saw the smoke from around the seats. Also (stadium organist) Dieter (Ruhle) was playing We Didn’t Start The Fire. Love that guy.”

The rapid response from emergency personnel apparently contained the fire to a single car, which was within eyesight of thousands of fans both in the parking lot and in the stadium.

As a result, photos and videos of a relatively brief car fire made the rounds on social media for an evening.

The car was far from Dodger Stadium, so no structures were in danger during the fire.

Hopefully, everyone was OK. Dodgers Nation will provide updates when we know more.

  1. GUARANTEE THE CAR WAS ELECTRIC! 🙂
WE HAVE TOLD YOU MANY TIMES; MICHAEL GROVE IS ANOTHER MITCH WHITE. HE’S A ONE PITCH (SLIDER) PITCHER. HIS BALL HAS NO ‘LIFE,’ AND HIS HARD STUFF IS STRAIGHT AS A STRING. NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE ON A MLB STARTER/RELIEVER ON THE DODGERS PITCHING STAFF. LIKE MITCH WHITE, HE BELONGS IN TRIPLE A…OR IN A TRADE DEAL THROW-IN FOR A REAL SHORTSTOP OR THIRD BASEMAN!
MESSAGE TO DODGER FANS. IF THE DODGERS DON’T WIN IT ALL THIS YEAR, IT’LL BE BECAUSE DAVE ROBERTS HAS NO CLUE HOW TO HANDLE A PITCHING STAFF. TONIGHT, THE DODGERS WERE DOWN, 4-3 IN THE 7TH, AND FOR WHATEVER REASON HE KEEPS PITCHING MICHAEL GROVE, A 6+ ERA PITCHER! IT’S LIKE WTF IS WITH DAVE ROBERTS. HE STILL HAS NO ‘FEEL’ FOR THE GAME, ESPECIALLY WHEN TO USE THE RIGHT PITCHERS IN KEY MOMENTS WHEN THE GAME COULD BE ON THE LINE. HES JUST NOT A SMART, STRATEGIC MANAGER, AND HE SHOWS IT BY HIS ‘GUT FDEEL’ PITCHING MOVES! AND THOSE TYPES OF ‘GAMBLE’ MOVES IS HOW YOU LOSE GAMES.
BOTTOM LINE, SCOUTMASTER, ENERGIZER BUNNY, MR ROGERS, DAVE ROBERTS, WILL BE 100% RESPONSIBLE IF LA DOESN’T BRING HOME THE WORLD SERIES TITLE THIS YEAR.
P.S. ANDY PAGES NEEDS TO ELIMINATE THE LEG RISE & KICK. HE CAN’T TIME IT LIKE JUSTIN TURNER CAN. HIS 1ST MOVE SHOULD BE TO ‘STAY BACK’ & WATCH THE SPIN OUT OF THE PITCHERS HAND. A LEG KICK THROWS HIM OFF BALANCE & LEAVES HIM AT THE MERCY OF THE PITCHER. HE DOESN’T HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO SHOW THE PITCHER A 1ST MOVE. NOTICE HE’S SOOO LATE ON THE HARD STUFF BC HE COMMITS FIRST. IT MAKES HIM EASY PITCHER’S “MEAT”. PAGES MUST ’86’ THE LEG KICK. STAY BACK & LOOK FOR THE HEATER & ADJUST TO THE OFF SPEED PITCHES. HE HAS THE ‘IT” HITTER’S TALENT. HE CAN PLAY THE GAME ON A HIGH LEVEL, BUT HE MUST DUMP THE LEG KICK & USE HIS INATE HITTING TALENT & MECHANICS! REMEMBER, STAY BACK!

    1. THE DODGERS PROBABLY HAVE THE BEST BRAINTRUST IN ALL OF SPORTS, AND THEIR PERFORMANCE OVER THE ROBERTS/FRIEDMAN ERA IS ONE OF THE BEST REGULAR SEASON RUNS IN THE HISTORY OF BASEBALL, RESULTING IN ROBERTS HAVING THE HIGHEST WINNING % OF ANY MANAGER EVER. IF ROBERTS LEFT THE DODGERS, THERE WOULD BE 10 TEAMS COMPETING WITH EACH OTHER FOR HIS SERVICES. YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE A BETTER MANAGER, SO APPLY FOR THE JOB, AND LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

  2. The fire in the parking lot took the attention away from the dumpster fire that is the bottom of the Dodgers batting order.

  3. Wow with all this superior knowledge and wisdom Vecchio has you’d think the Dodgers would snatch him right up!….Obviously they’d win every game and have all the best players if they’d only listen to him!…….However I suspect there is a reason for that they have not done that, a very good reason, like maybe they’re not that dumb!
